MAY 16 Spring Fling and MAY 17 CRUSADER CRUISE 5K RUN/WALK
We have a name for the Picnic - St. John Neumann Spring Fling. This year the annual school picnic will take on a bigger and better look as it will now extend into the evening and will include children and adults. The school day part of the picnic will begin at noon and run to 2:25. Pizza will be served to all students in the gym before the picnic. The evening phase of the picnic will involve the whole family and will run from 5:00 until midnight. There will be a live band, Out of Focus, outdoors. In the school gym t there will be a pre-teen (6th-8th grade) dance with a volunteer DJ. T This will be especially nice for the working parents who couldn’t always enjoy the picnic with their kids because of the time. Please put this important date on your calendar now and please be prepared to volunteer some of your time to help make this event a huge success. If you would like to help with the planning phase of this event, there are many committees that could use your help now. The committees are: Music, Kid Games, Adult Games, Food and Drink, Rides, Volunteers, clean up, Finance, Tween Dance, Site Plan, Advertising, Crusader Cruise. If working on one of these committees interests you, FastDirect Kathy Henderson. She is the Volunteer Coordinator.

Protecting God's Children
Any person who works in any capacity with school children must attend a training session in the Protecting God's Children Program and must authorize a background check by us. This includes any volunteer work or driving a vehicle on a field trip - any contact at all. The schedule for upcoming sessions is listed on the Springfield Diocese website.
