St. John Neumann Preschool serves families who want to

offer their children learning experiences in a Christian environment. 

We offer 3 and 4 year old classes. 

• Three-year olds meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
• Four-year olds meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Daycare for SJN preschool students is available in the Neumann Club Child Care Center which is adjoining SJN school.  See the “Before/After School Care” page for additional information about this service.

Our Curriculum:

The preschool years are a time of new discoveries and social and intellectual growth.  Our curriculum provides developmentally appropriate activities for preschool aged children. 

These activities will encourage the child’s interest and understanding in the following areas:

           Language and Communication Skills

            Fine Motor Skills

            Gross Motor Skills

           Perceptual/Cognitive Abilities

           Personal/Social Relationships

Children will participate in a variety of activities/stations each day including circle time, story time, arts and crafts and more.  Through these experiences, we believe the children will develop self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Our teachers:

• Mrs. Cindy Moad, preschool teacher, graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education.  Mrs. Moad has been an SJN pre-school teacher since 2005.
• Mrs. Peggy Reeves, preschool aide, graduated from Northeast Missouri State with an Early Childhood degree.  Mrs. Reeves has been involved with SJN pre-school since 2007.
