Fundraisers - Scrip General Info

Scrip is a fantastic program to benefit SJN school and families. You purchase a gift card or certificate and then do your normal shopping. It is important to realize that this fundraiser costs you no money other than what you would already spend!! At whatever store you may shop, you simply purchase a gift card or certificate and then go shopping. You spend no extra money, but our school receives a percentage of your spending.

For example, buying a $20 gift certificate from Shop N' Save allows you to buy $20 of merchandise from that store. SJN purchases that $20 certificate at a 5% discount so the difference is what the school earns. There are numerous local and national grocery stores, restaurants, department stores, and specialty items (like airlines and hotels) that participate.

Purchasing Scrip is very convenient. After each weekend Mass in all three parishes, volunteer parents have a table set up for you to buy Scrip. Scrip is also available each weekday in the school office during normal business hours. You can also print the forms from this site and turn them in to the Scrip seller after mass or to the school office. Cash N Carry items (such as Dierbergs, Shop N Save, Alfonzos, Applebees, Kohls, Lowes, to name a few) are carried at all times. Many other Scrip items are ordered. Orders are placed on Monday mornings by 11am and items are delivered to school usually by Thursday afternoon.

Schnucks no longer participates in Scrip but takes part in the eScrip program. A card, which costs you no money, is scanned during the transaction. A percentage of your purchase is given back to SJN. This is another great way that you can help out SJN and it doesn't cost you anything! If you would like more information about this, please contact the school office.
