We are excited to introduce our new fundraiser, HoopsMania! This program is designed to be a fun and engaging way to support our school while enjoying the thrill of MARCH MADNESS! As we prepare to kick-off this fundraiser for this upcoming basketball season, we wanted to provide the following informational outline to get us started. This 3 minute video also does a great job of explaining the process.

1. WHAT IS HOOPSMANIA?
   HoopsMania is an exciting game based on college basketball’s National Championship Tournament in March. No skill necessary to play! No picking teams or winners. To play, simply add up the points scored by your 8 assigned teams on the back of your card. The highest and lowest scoring cards at the end of the tournament win prizes!

Similar to our NFL raffle, each card is randomly assigned 8 teams (2 from each region). For example, 
“#2 Midwest and #4 South” are sample teams. All cards have seeds 1-8 so everyone has an equal chance of winning. Teams and seed numbers are announced on ‘Selection Sunday,’ March 16th.

2. WHERE DO I BUY THE TICKETS AND WHAT IS THE COST?
   Tickets cost just $10 each and can bepurchased online here by clicking “contribute now.” You will receive your ticket in an email that can be printed at home and/or tracked online with one click.
   
   

3. HOW DO I WIN?
   There are 75 chances to win! More than $2,000 in prizes could be won*:
   
   

You can check your point total at any time by using this link or downloading the free HoopsMania app from your app store. If your ticket has a winning combination, SJN will mail you a check. Winners are announced on April 7th.

The deadline to purchase tickets is March 20th.

*Fine print: There are 1,440 possible ticket combinations. If we don’t sell 1,440 tickets, there is a chance that some of the winning combinations will not be sold.
